The event was held in a “cozy and private” setting, away from prying eyes, in the presence of their five children.

Cristiano Ronaldo himself announced the landmark event that evening, posting a concise message on his Instagram page. The footballer shared a traditional wedding photo: two hands with wedding rings on the fingers, accompanied by the caption “C (heart emoji) G.”

Their story began in 2016 in Madrid, when Georgina worked as a sales assistant at a Gucci boutique. She recalled feeling “butterflies in her stomach” when the footballer entered the store. After that, Ronaldo would pick her up from work in his luxury car.
